Portrait photography can be a tough job. Today it was 95 degrees out in our little town of Waunakee and I was on a mission to do an outdoor photo shoot. I had the pleasure of working with the Margenau kids. Payton and Tristan. They were a lot of fun. It had been about 4 months since my last photo shoot. I had been out practicing like crazy for the past two weeks to make sure I had some chops. There is something to be said about lying on the ground on wet muddy grass trying to get THE SHOT. I try to make sure you can see some of my subjects personality in their portrait. I love absolutely portrait photography. It is a great expression of art. To paint with light and give someone something they can cherish with their family is pretty darn awesome.
